Exotic Woods
This is a knife with bubbinga knife scales. The customer didn't want brass pins so I picked wood dowels for the low cost and ease of maintenance over time. Other materials includes G10 and micarda.

Low Cost
Since I don't have a huge shop with 5000 different tools and 200 different cnc blanks I can keep costs low. This means same or higher quality for less. (Above is a hand-forged rebar knife blank that needs to be ground. This is a good example of the work required to get a finish such as the top photo and shows why abrasives eat up money.)
